Good Neighbors System

The University Good Neighbors System is a comprehensive system for managing the actual collection of funds to the University's Good Neighbors activities. It allows for the tracking of both the people donating and for the funds that are donated.

The University Good Neighbors System has several major components. These components are all available for on-line entry.

  • The first component is a main data entry process that allows for the maintenance of a donor's demographic information. Whether the person is a university employee or a donor the university, information from the appropriate system is automatically loaded to this system.

  • The second major component is a data entry process that allows for the maintenance and entry of donation information. This includes the entry of dates, amounts, type of gift, etc.

  • The third major component is an automated interface with the University Payroll/Personnel/Benefits System that allows for the posting of payroll deduction information for donations made via payroll deduction by University employees.

  • A comprehensive reporting systems allows for a large variety of reports. All of these reports can be printed centrally at selected remote printers, or locally on slave printers. All reports have a variety of selection criteria available.
  • The available reports include:

    • Detailed Demographic reports
    • Detailed Donation reports
    • Detail Financial reports
    • Gift Receipts for donations
